When issuing, you choose the role (student / teacher), an expiry, and a usage limit, so every link stays safely under control.

Tap “+” on the “Invitation links” screen to issue a link. Copy or share it right there, so you can send it through your usual channels — chat, email, or a QR code on a flyer.

Set an expiry and usage limit to fit the occasion

Choose an expiry and a maximum number of uses when you issue a link. “Trial day only” or “first 10 seats” intake can be run safely with a single link.

  • Expiry: none / 7 days / 30 days / 90 days
  • Max uses: unlimited / 1 / 10 / 50 / 100
  • Expired or fully-used links are disabled automatically and can no longer be used to join

Choose the role: student or teacher

Invitation links are issued as either “join as student” or “join as teacher”. Teacher links use a security-focused mechanism, so you can invite staff with confidence.

  • People who join from a student link become students; from a teacher link, teachers
  • Teacher links use hard-to-guess secure tokens
  • Teacher links automatically get a tight expiry and usage limit to reduce misuse

* For security, a teacher link is shown only once, right after it is issued, and cannot be displayed again.

How to use

Invite in 3 easy steps

A classroom admin or teacher issues an invitation link and shares it with students or new teachers.

Issue an invitation link

Tap “+” on the “Invitation links” screen, choose the role (student / teacher), expiry, and usage limit, and issue the link.

Share the link

Copy or share the issued link and send it to the people you want to invite over chat or email.

They join

The recipient opens the link and requests to join. Students are confirmed once the classroom approves; teachers join right away.

Good to know

  • Classroom admins and teachers can issue and manage invitation links from the iOS and Android apps and the web console.
  • People who join as students become “join requests” and are confirmed when the classroom approves them.
  • For security, a teacher link is shown only once, right after it is issued. Copy or share it before closing.
  • Links that have expired or reached their usage limit are disabled automatically and can no longer be used to join.
