HOW IT WORKS

Three steps to reach students and guardians

Tap “+” in the Events section

On iOS / Android, scroll to the “Events” section at the bottom of the Classroom tab; on the Web console, open “Events” in the sidebar. Only classroom admins can create events.

Enter banner, name, date & time and link

Pick a banner from your photo library and crop it to 16:9. Turn on the end time only when you need it, and set a link that starts with https.

  • 3Toggle the end time on or off

Save, and it appears for everyone

The moment you save, the card shows up in the Classroom tab and Web console for students, guardians and teachers. Tapping the card opens the link you set.

EVENT FIELDS

What you can set on an event

Just four fields. Banner and end time are optional.

Banner

Shown at 16:9. Choose from your photo library and crop. Events work without one, too.

Event name

Up to 100 characters, e.g. “Autumn Recital”.

Date & time

Start is required. The end time appears only when “Set end time” is on.

Link

The https URL opened from the card: a sign-up form, an info page and so on.

WHAT MEMBERS SEE

The right view for each role

Students, guardians & teachers

View

  • The latest 3 events under “Events” in the Classroom tab
  • “See All” switches between All / Upcoming / Ended
  • Ended events get an “Ended” badge and a grayscale banner
  • Even while open, the list updates within a minute after the end time

Admins

Create, edit & delete

  • Add from “+” or “Create Event”
  • Replace the banner or clear the end time any time
  • Edit or delete from the long-press menu (card menu on the web)
  • Deleting asks for confirmation and cannot be undone
